The former passage was closed due to the construction of a new building, but eventually it was classified as unbuildable because of windows of neighboring buildings. Therefore, in 2005, the city initiative DPVI invited the studio "aaa" to explore the possible use of this vacant and yet highly visible space located in the very center of the Saint Blaise district.
